17 歳でNYコレクションにてデビューし、一躍話題となる。以後、世界の第一線でトップモデルとして活躍。モデルのほかテレビやラジオパーソナリティ、イベント、俳優などさまざまな分野にも精力的に挑戦。俳優としては、2019 年放送のTBS日曜劇場『グランメゾン東京』をはじめ、 2023年から放送された NHK ドラマ10『大奥』では吉宗役として主演を務め話題となった。
日本人として唯一無二のキャリアをもつスーパーモデルとして、チャリティ・社会貢献活動や日本の伝統文化を伝える活動など、その活躍の場をクリエイティブに広げている。2024年4月、全国の伝統文化を訪ねる番組「冨永愛の伝統to未来」 (BS日テレ)がスタート。

Ai Tominaga
Debuted at age 17 during New York Fashion Week, she rapidly acquired a high reputation in the fashion world and became a top model worldwide. She has also energetically challenged herself in various fields such as TV, radio, and event appearances, as well as acting. She appeared on the TBS series Sunday Theater “Grand Maison Tokyo,” broadcast in 2019, and NHK’s historical drama series 10 “Ooku,” broadcast in 2023, where she played the lead role of Yoshimune Tokugawa.
As a top Japanese model with multiple careers, she has creatively expanded her activities to include charities, social contributions, and sharing traditional Japanese culture. In April 2024, “Ai Tominaga’s Tradition to Future” (BS Nippon Television), a TV program that explores traditional culture across Japan, began airing.
